ICUH 2025 CONFERENCE program

The 21st International Conference on Urban Health (ICUH 2025) will transform Wellington into a vibrant meeting place of interdisciplinary learning, global thought-sharing, discovery, and collaboration.

Across five days, the conference will bring together hundreds of international leaders, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to explore new approaches to creating healthier, more equitable, and climate-resilient cities.

The main conference program will run Tuesday through Thursday at TākinaWellington’s state-of-the-art conference and exhibition centre. Our 2025 conference features five dynamic plenary sessions, 150+ workshops, panels, oral and poster presentations, and specially-curated exhibitions highlighting innovative research and practice in urban health.

To complement these sessions, Monday and Friday will feature curated site visits, tours, and partner-led activities designed to connect participants with Wellington’s local context, culture, and leadership in urban wellbeing. Evening receptions and networking events throughout the week will provide more opportunities to meet, exchange ideas, and celebrate with colleagues from around the world.
